QuantumLink is the national telecommunications service dedicated exclusively to supporting the Commodore 64 and 128 line of computer systems! With just a 300 or 1200 baud modem and the special Q-Link terminal software, you have access to thousands of fellow computerists, countless experts, over 40,000 public domain files to download and make your own, technical information, and much, much more.
The "Music Room Support Group" is the place on Q-Link for any computerist who has an interest in making or playing music with his Commodore computer. Found in the Commodore Information Network (CIN) department, the Music Room is one of the largest support areas on the system. Whether you are a seasoned professional musician or a beginner wishing to enjoy some great music from your computer, this is the place to find help, find friends with the same interests, or get programs and files that will play music for you or help you make your own music!
In the Music Room you can meet other computerists who share an interest in music, download thousands of arrangements, or share your "masterpieces" with us all. You can get help with your music questions and problems, both from the well informed SysOps and from a group of very expert members. Offered are Software Libraries, message boards, contests, classes, workshops, projects, and even The "Music Studio" and "Music Hall", the informal chat and help rooms open every night in Q-Link's People Connection.
